The design for the new Czech Railways administration building, located in the Holešovice area in Prague, which is a part of the important transport centre. The high-rise Czech Railways administration building situated beside the railway corridor in the close vicinity of Argentinská Street will take on the function of an entrance gate to Holešovice area in the Prague 7 municipality. The design for the new building will comply with the Category 2 requirements, using a thermal water pump system for heating water and heating the building. The facades are designed using several types of metal meshing which will help to reduce the heat load and make significant savings on the cooling of the building during summer periods. As the building is located in the flood area, the construction design proposes construction of three open underground cark parking levels. In the event of flooding the parking vehicles will be evacuated allowing the free flow of water through "underground" levels. This solution would not require any further anti-flooding measures and it would therefore help to keep the construction costs down. The ground floor of the building is on the same level as the platforms in the new railway station. The newly designed bridge over the railway corridor will allow a direct pedestrian connection between the administration building and the railway station.
