The concept study concerning the use of the investor's site close to Vysočanská metro station for the construction of the English Grammar School. The construction complex consists of four basic structural massing units. The outside entrance space surrounded by a circular wall, which is connected to Vysočanská metro station, is to evoke the "open arms" of the building and, at the same time, to provide a meeting and rest area with an established green area with the urban and street furniture including small statues and water ponds. This space is connected to the grammar school's entrance hall with direct connections to the dinning room and the main hall. The subsequent main section of the building houses the class rooms and the gymnasium, together with the building services areas and the back entrance to the building. The shape and the concept of the grammar school building is based on the shape and location of the site and the general requirements of the investor as regards the sizing and aesthetic appearance. The massing of the four-storey grammar school building will complete the massing of the corner of Freyova and Kolbenova Streets and enclose the space of the square.
