The shopping and entertainment centre Zličín is located on the western outskirts of Prague. The lay-out of the building is outlined in the immediate connection to the exit from the final stop of subway on the route B-Zličín and of the bus stop of urban and suburban public transport. Considering the easy access is the shopping centre used by both of Prague and region inhabitants. The shopping centre with its facilities fits to the preconditions to cover the offer of goods and also the entertainment for wide masses of population. The object mass does create the volume composition of the semi closed indoor yard/square, toward of it are oriented the architectonic accentuated main entrances for the visitors of centre. In the middle of each internal side (left and right façade) is the visitor entrance located. In the connection to pedestrian access from the metro station, is the next enrance located on the east façade (direction to the access road), again accentuated by the architectonic roofing lay-out. These entrances are leading the visitors towards the straight passage „mall” – which is passing across the buiding. The interior of central hall coherent to the non-stop passage covers architectually accentuated segmented roof formed by steel made truss. The overall mass composition is enhanced by the elements of the various types of roof lights. The shopping mall offers within the 70 shops, the multi-cinema with 12 halls with the capacity more than 3000 visitors, fitness, bowling, entertainment zone, restaurants, coffee lounges, food court with the capacity of 420 persons and mother-children’s room. There is 1870 parking lots for visitors.
