The multi-functional O2 (Sazka) Arena is undoubtedly a type of building that for its size and range of services for spectators and architectural and urban design deserved to be called an exceptional building.

The design services provided by the team of Obermeyer Helika’s architects, designers and specialists have complemented the entire construction works process. Any of the problems that might have occurred in the course of construction works had to be addressed and resolved within so short periods of time that, looking back, seem almost impossible. Nonetheless, the resulting multi-functional arena conforms with every relevant standard and, immediately after the completion, was able to demonstrate its functional capacity by staging the 2004 ice hockey world championship. Since then the arena provided a stage for a great variety of cultural, social and sports events.
