Alexandria Hotel consists of a building constructed in the 1920s in the historicising style with art-nouveau elements. This building of the First Republic period was completely reconstructed and now offers 20 hotel rooms, a kitchen with dining room and a French restaurant for 75 persons and a night club for 120 customers. Alexandria Hotel is situated on the south-facing slope in the midst of the existing mixed town fabric in the walking distance of the spa centre. The scope and standard of accommodation puts the hotel in the category of luxury four-star hotels. The new modern technology installation include the centrally controlled air-conditioning system. The main feature of the historic five-storey building with one basement level is the French restaurant on the raised parterre level connected to the spacious open terrace by the row of historic arched French windows. The windows are decorated with solid timber panels and the luxurious appearance of the restaurant is further underlined by a fragmented mirror wall mirror the back section of which is joined to the newly restored mural fresco. The night was also restored and expanded and all hotel decorations and furnishings were custom made in the period style. It is also worth to mention the magnificent design of the entrance space completely lined with the white-grey marble.
