Brownfield in Prague’s Vysočany is changing into a new city district

We are cooperating on the project of revitalization of the former Odkolek bakery in Prague's Vysočany. In the project called VYSOČANSKÝ MLÝN, whose investor is Metrostav Development a.s., OBERMEYER HELIKA is the designer of construction part and construction coordinator. The brownfield of the former Odkolek bakeries will soon become a full-fledged residential area. The construction of residential houses with commercial units on the ground floor will open the area to the public and connect the surrounding area with pedestrian corridors and green spaces. It will naturally remove the barrier between the Krocínka residential area and Jandova and Ke Klíčovu streets.

The company OBERMEYER HELIKA has been working on the project since 2020, when it prepared the construction part of the documentation for the construction assignment for the general designer and dealt with coordination. "We converted all drawing documents for the construction and structural part into a 3D model in the Revit design system and further elaborated them into the details of high-quality tender documentation. This proves to be suitable and desirable for the necessary optimization of the proposed solution, assessment of critical technical details and the necessary spatial coordination of the building, statics and MET. The added value is the generated reports with a permanent link to the modeled structures and the entered products. This procedure eliminates human errors in the necessary data transmission and makes it easier to maintain comprehensive documentation in a relatively up-to-date state even in the event of subsequent changes requested by the investor or contractor, "said Ing. Jiří Houda, project manager from OBERMEYER HELIKA a.s.
