The modernization of the PALLADIUM shopping centre consists of an expansion of the floor area in the atrium, refurbishment of the entrances, a new information navigation system and replacement of light sources with LEDs. The food court was reconstructed in the 3rd etape. The building now uses energy more efficiently and has more efficient interior cooling.
An interesting technical aspect of the first phase of the project is the newly constructed concrete floor in the entrance atrium on the ground floor of the shopping centre. This structure is supported by eight reinforced concrete columns in the space of the new info point. The new columns are independently based on the existing foundation slab of the building, located up to the fifth underground floor, and their free length is 20 metres.
