OBERMEYER HELIKA Chief Commercial Officer Jiří Kos met fourth-year students from the Secondary School of Construction in Prague 1. He spoke to them about the design office and the chance to do student internships at OBERMEYER HELIKA. He focused more on the transfer of practical experience from the professional life of a designer and how it can be used on the labour market. As these were students with a focus on designing in BIM, they discussed the current BIM situation in this country. The students were also interested in the projects implemented by Obermeyer Helika in BIM and using 3D programming.
The students who took part in the meeting are now deciding on what to go on to study at university, or to take a job. Jiří Kos impressed them with his practical professional experience. He spoke about the various roles that they can hold in their future work team, and also discussed the wide range of employment opportunities for these students, which are truly diverse. The possibilities really are unlimited, for designers, BIM managers and project managers, through to expert consultants or technical supervisors.
