The Building of the Year 2013
The building of the Proton Therapeutic Center is located on a steep slope and is designed as a five-storey building with total dimensions of 68 x 48 m and a height of 19 m from the landscaped terrain on the northern facade. Structurally and dispositionally, the building consists of two parts of a polyclinic and an irradiation room sunk into the slope to the south. The uniqueness of the PTC building lies in its equipment with proton irradiation technology, which carries with it the necessary links to ensure high cooling and electrical inputs, along with the requirements for low-current safety and communication systems.
